Wait at least 28 days before sealing new concrete. The slab needs time to release internal moisture. If you seal too early, the trapped vapor will cause white haze and peeling. Always test surface moisture before starting.

Can you seal concrete that already has cracks in it?

Yes, but the cracks get filled before sealing. We route them out and clean the channel. The polyurethane sealant flexes with the slab as temperatures change. If the surface damage is heavy, concrete resurfacing may make more sense before sealing.

Does a concrete sealer make the surface slippery?

A penetrating silane-siloxane sealer does not change traction because it works below the surface. For coated decorative floors, we can add slip-resistant grit. Garage and commercial floors get extra traction support when needed.
